Take A Mystery Tour of Downtown Fergus Falls!
Downtown Fergus Falls Mystery Tour
Known for its quaint tree-lined streets, abundant churches and flocks of geese, Fergus Falls also has a dark side that has largely been ignored…until now.
Don’t miss one of summer’s unique events as the Otter Tail County Historical Society hosts the Downtown Fergus Falls Mystery Tour on Friday, June 9, 8 p.m. The tour begins in the lobby of the historic River Inn on Mill Street.
As the tour weaves through the downtown streets, people and events come to life such as the lecherous antics of a well known businessman or wild chases involving “crazed” state hospital patients. We have uncovered stories that until now have been swept under the rug. There is a reason the call letters for radio station KGDE were known around town as _____.
Even if you have been on past Mystery Tours, new stories have been uncovered including the eye opening revelations about Fergus Falls written by one of Minnesota’s most famous authors.
Due to the content of the material, the Mystery Tour may not be suitable for young children.
The cost for the tour is $6. For more information contact OTCHS at 218-736-6038.
