Ashby is a progressive community set among beautiful lakes, farms and friendly people. If you enjoy hiking, biking and snowmobiling, Memorial Park is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast.
Battle Lake is a bustling little community wrapped snugly around the western edge of West Battle Lake in central Minnesota’s “lakes country."
The small community of Bluffton was incorporated in 1903 and is 4 miles NW of Wadena. There are several businesses in the community ranging from a hardware store to a beauty salon,
Clitherall has a population of 118 and is surrounded by many lakes that offer fishing, boating, camping, nature walks and of dozens of traditional family resorts.
Dalton is a small community surrounded by lakes and the beauty of nature. Dalton is known for the annual Threshing Reunion held the first weekend after Labor Day.
Deer Creek is a small community located near New York Mills. Visitors can enjoy viewing exhibits at the museum and the surrounding scenery.
Dent is situated in the heart of the lake country region providing great fishing in summer and winter. Our local merchants and resorts have a wide variety of products and services to meet all your vacation needs.
Just outside Fergus Falls, this quaint community offers you a beautiful view any direction you look!
Erhard is the home of the largest 4th of July celebration in Otter Tail County. The city of Erhard is surrounded by beautiful scenery throughout its rolling hills that provides you with a view for miles!

Home of the largest prairie chicken on the planet. Rothsay’s mild weather is ideal for hiking, biking and other outdoor activities! In the winter time come enjoy ice fishing on one of the 10,000 lakes in Rothsay’s backyard.
Come to Underwood and check out all the interesting and historic landmarks including Foss Log Cabin, Centennial Park, Fort Juelson and the Phelps Mill.
Vergas is known as the “Home of the Loon," the Minnesota State Bird. There is a giant 20 foot replica of the State Bird erected on the shore of Long Lake, in the center of City Park.
As the citizens of Vining always say, “The door to Vining is always open and all are welcome!” Vining holds the Biggest Small Town Celebration in Otter Tail County. Sculptures are scattered throughout the city.
