We Are Water MN Exhibit Open
August 30, 2022 – Otter Tail County, MN– It is here! The We Are Water MN-Otter Tail County interactive exhibit is open. The free exhibit will be showcased at the Fergus Falls Public Library through October 10, 2022. The exhibit is free to the public and is open during library hours. The
event is a unique opportunity for residents and visitors of all ages to share their important relationships with water and learn about water in Minnesota, particularly in Otter Tail County.
Visitors are encouraged to browse through the exhibit at their leisure to listen to stories, perform a puppet show, read inspiration messages from locals and have fun exploring the many interactive displays.
A Year of Water Photography Contest
While you are visiting the exhibit make sure to stop and vote for your favorite water photos. The top two photos of each category have been selected by the We Are Water MN panel and are on display for public voting. Voting closes on October 1. The winners will be announced on October 3. The top 12 photos will be compiled into a 2023 We Are Water Calendar. The calendars will be available for purchase in December. The exhibit is an excellent learning opportunity for all ages. While you are in Fergus Falls, visit the Prairie Wetlands Center, the Otter Tail County Historical Society Museum, or the Recycling Center. Limited transportation funds are available for busing students to the library in Fergus Falls. Contact [email protected] to schedule a visit and arrange transportation funding.
