Test your water for nitrates
Free nitrate clinics sponsored by the East and West Otter Tail County Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCD) will be held at the county fairs. Please bring a sample of your well water to the West Otter Tail County Fair on July 21 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. to have your water tested for nitrates. On July 22 from 3:00-5:00 p.m., you can have your water tested at the East Otter Tail County Fair. For more information about the many services your SWCD provides visit: eotswcd.org or wotswcd.org
Share your water stories at a Water Bar during the county fairs
A Water Bar is a bar that serves free local tap water. It is a table to gather around for quenching thirst, for questioning water, for sharing and encountering stories, and for being and becoming part of a community. Stop by and taste local water at the Water Bar at the East and West Otter Tail County Fairs. For a schedule of We Are Water Events at the fairs visit ottertailcountymn.us/we-are-water-mn.
