LIVE RAPTORS AT CULTURAL CENTER
New York Mills, MN—The Little Big Year, a project of the Cultural Center, welcomes Angie Morales, the raptor expert from the Headwaters Science Center in Bemidji, to the Cultural Center on Friday, June 16 at 7:00 p.m. Ms. Morales will be presenting Raptors Rule, an informative and entertaining program which centers on several live predatory birds.
This is an exciting opportunity to get a close-up view of live raptors and to learn about the characteristics that make them different from other birds, which ones are common to Minnesota and where they live, and what we can do to protect these spectacular creatures. Come get your questions about hawks, eagles and owls answered and have a firsthand experience with live birds of prey. All are welcome and admission is free. Refreshments will be served.
