Hilltop Lumber is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Interior Designer/Sales Specialist at our Ottertail, MN location. This position focuses on facilitating the sales and design of home interior products, including cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, and other offerings tailored to residential new construction and remodeling projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide customers through product selection, design, and purchasing processes.
• Create custom designs for kitchens, baths, and other spaces using design software.
• Coordinate with contractors, homeowners, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide expert knowledge of home interior products and the sales process.
• Maintain organization, attention to detail, and strong follow-up with clients.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in interior design or a related field is required.
• A degree in Interior Design is strongly preferred.
• Sales experience, especially in residential construction, is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency in computer design tools, basic math skills, and an understanding of construction processes.
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
