It’s go time! Fishing Report 6-8-2022

Summer is here and the fish are moving. It’s go time! Here is your Otter Tail County, MN fishing report for 6-8-2022.
Now is not the time to stay still and grind them, it’s go time to get moving and cover water.
Eyeballs are in predictable locations but they are constantly on the move. Jig and plastic/ or bottom bouncers have been my most productive methods. There’s fish shallow and deep, don’t be afraid to chase both in the same day.
Crappies are moving to the weedlines and can be found pitching our pulling small jigs with plastics. Each lake will be different because crappies will be schooled up on on some lakes and they will be spread out on others. The key will be covering water and staying mobile.
Bass are finishing up the spawn and are moving towards fresh weedlines. Deep crankbaits and jigs work great this time of year. Just don’t get hung up on one area because they too can be spread out.
Transitions happen throughout the season and this one is no different. Stay mobile and keep catching! For more fishing reports visit https://ottertaillakescountry.com/interactive-map/?fwp_place_categories=fishing-hunting
