Free health assessments, lab work offered to area residents
Area residents are invited to attend Tri-County Health Care’s Health Assessment community event in partnership with Wadena County Public Health on Monday, May 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday, May 22, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Maslowski Wellness and Research Center in Wadena.
This free event will offer glucose and lipid panels and blood pressure checks, as well as a chance to fill out a health assessment. A health assessment is a survey that collects information and data to identify a community’s important health needs. For best lab results, fasting for eight hours prior is recommended.
Those who attend and fill out a health assessment will receive a punch card for 10 free visits to the Maslowski Wellness and Research Center and be entered to win a $100 Visa gift card.
This event is made possible through funding from South Country Health Alliance.
