Saturday July 8th from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at E. L. Peterson Park in Pelican Rapids MN, the annual Rotary Turkey Barbeque is a must attend event. We start at 4:00 AM with 70 turkeys cooked to perfection over a charcoal fire. This event has been a Pelican Rapids tradition for nearly 70 years! Only $10 gets you a Turkey BBQ sandwich, beans from Sone’s, chips, pickles, an applesauce cup, and a drink. Proceeds are spent in the community through the Pelican Rapids Rotary Club on things like playground equipment and other great community projects.
While you are in town, come see another one of the great events going on Saturday like the Classic Car Show or the Pelican Fest Parade.
