Artist Bazaar & Stock-Up Sale: All are invited to SHOP LOCAL at our 14th annual Artist Bazaar! Winter Fundraiser on Wednesday, November 29 from 6-8PM at the NYM City Hall Ballroom. All are invited to enjoy lots of fun ways to support our creative community! Belonging Gallery Reception: Join us on Friday, December 1 from 4-6PM for the local opening of part 2 of our “Belonging” project- the unveiling of more than 185 portraits and thoughts on belonging taken right here in our local region by Photographer & storyteller John Noltner! Coffee & Cardamom @ NYM Senior Center: Our December Wednesday Workshop is on the road! Join us at the Senior Center (12 N Walker Ave, NYM) on Wednesday, December 6 from 1-4PM to learn how to make Finnish pulla bread in time for the holidays at this special collaborative workshop! Bring your own mixing bowl if you can , all other supplies will be provided. This workshop fee will help support the Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels Program. Cost: $40| 15 Spots available. Meat Raffel @ NYM VFW: We are thrilled to be partnering with our local VFW to raise funds for our community programs! Longest Night Music Festival is an annual community favorite! Sit & Stitch is an informal gathering of local fiber artists held weekly at the Cultural Center on Thursdays from 5-7PM. Free to attend and open to all! Come work on your projects, visit with other fiber art enthusiasts, peruse our free assortment of shared yarns, needles, and supplies, and make new connections! As a reminder, Cultural Center events are ALWAYS open to ALL! Many of our events are free to attend. If tickets or registration is required, it is noted. Members and donors provide essential financial support to our organization, and we are so thankful for all of our supporters! That said, memberships are NOT required to attend our events- our doors are always open to all.
