Summer is in full swing. There are lots of ways to enjoy water fun here in Otter Tail County, MN. Many of the resorts here specialize in making your time on the lake as memorable as possible. Here is a list of just some of the water related activities offered by area resorts.

Many of the areas resorts enjoy teaching their guests to waterski, wake board or wake surf. Fair Hills Resort on Pelican Lake offers classes as part of their itinerary. East Silent Lake Resort also offers lessons for all sorts of water sports by appointment. (applicable fees may apply)

Sailing

If you prefer to enjoy water fun powered by Mother Nature, Woodlawn Resort on Blanche Lake is known for sailing. Their experience and love for the sport have launched hundreds of new sailors over the decades. They have a fleet of beginner friendly Sunfish sailboats available and offer other choices for more advanced sailors.

Being ON a lake in any way shape or form can provide tons of water fun. Most of the area lakeside resorts offer some type of boat rental. If you are looking for a small fishing boat, a fish and ski combo, a pontoon or personal watercraft to use during your stay, odds are the resort you are staying at has something for you to rent.

Another way to have water fun this summer is to enjoy all the beach and water toys that area resorts have.
