Spanky’s Stone Hearth: Beautiful Food in a Cozy Atmosphere

A couple sits together toasting their anniversary. Families and small groups of couples enjoy a leisurely meal as the rays of setting sun sparkle on the crystal blue waters of Rose Lake. Spanky’s Stone Hearth is a destination restaurant perfect for celebrating life’s big moments or for quietly savoring a chilled glass of wine.
Three co-workers who became friends and then business partners, have teamed up to create an exceptional dining experience at Spanky’s. Head Chef Michael Kasper manages the kitchen while Jared Faul runs Guest Relations, including reservations. Bar and beverage manager Matt Hanson notes that the trio of restaurateurs prides itself on a reputation of, “consistent quality dishes, cocktails and service, in warm comfortable surroundings.”
The Spanky’s staff also contributes in a major way to the vibe here. Knowledgeable and friendly, they are as comfortable serving a large group as they are creating an intimate setting for two. Matt acknowledges that they have assembled, “a big group of Rock Stars that share our core beliefs and go above and beyond to make our guests’ experience enjoyable.”
Spanky’s management has refined the idea of farm to table with herbs and vegetables raised in their own bountiful garden. Specialty cocktails and signature dishes incorporate home grown mint, basil, rosemary and more. In addition, their flair for fresh and seasonal ingredients originates with various farms in the area.
The special occasion destination can deliver their dining experience, too. Spanky’s Stone Hearth has a full service catering department for weddings and private events and during the warmer months their fabulous food truck is out and about serving food.
