What You’ll Do as a CNC Operator: – Program, set up, and operate CNC machinery to manufacture aluminum components – Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and production specifications – Load raw materials and parts into machines and perform test runs before production – Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and tolerances – Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools – Perform tool wear offsets, change inserts, and troubleshoot minor machine issues – Complete production documentation and report maintenance concerns as needed What You Need to Bring to the CNC Operator: – Previous CNC machine operation and programming experience required – Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions – Strong math skills, including fractions, percentages, geometry, and basic trigonometry – Experience using precision measuring tools and maintaining quality standards – Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout a 10-hour shift – Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds as needed – Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC programming software – Forklift certification preferred – Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to safety – Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively in a production environment Why You’ll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
