Earth Day is on April 22 and you are invited to the Fergus Falls Public Library to celebrate on Saturday, April 20 @ 10:00 – 11:30 am by learning about
Clean Transportation: Electric Vehicles and Active Transportation.
Presenters
● Wayne Hurley, from West Central Initiative, will share the current increase in Active Transportation locally and in the region and the continued need for bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure updates.
● Jason Grenier, from Otter Tail Power, will share information about the current and future opportunities for an Electric Vehicle (EV) use, and infrastructure, including a summary of what’s happening right now at the legislature to support outstate Minnesota EV growth.
● Meet and hear from Electric Vehicle owners. What is available? How does this work? What are the challenges and the benefits?
