Welcome to Fergus Falls
Without a doubt, this year gives us many reasons to celebrate in Fergus Falls. We are 150 years old! That is a lot of candles. Our founding fathers built this town with the Otter Tail River being central to our existence. Hence, the falls provided power, industry and a means to thrive. They still do. At this point, check the website at FergusFalls150.com for sesquicentennial events.
Because the Otter Tail River meanders through downtown, it is a beautiful backdrop for the nearby shops, restaurants and breweries. So, whatever your reason for visiting, we invite you to relax, unwind and be refreshed. Additionally, Fergus Falls has many outdoor recreation assets and a strong affinity for arts and history. Located in west central Minnesota, Fergus Falls is beautiful and vibrant. Special events throughout the year celebrate our heritage, the outdoors and the arts. Consequently, residents and employers select Fergus Falls for the excellent education, healthcare, infrastructure and sense of community. Therefore, the people are our best asset – we know our neighbors, welcome visitors and work together to make Fergus Falls our home. Finally, we’re so glad you’re here.
