T-shirts, protein/coffee drinks and photography. What do they have in common? Customers have access to all three businesses in one building
at 112 East Main Street behind First National Bank in Battle Lake. Sara Faaaliga owns Lakes Lockeroom and Sara Faaaliga Photography on the right side of the building.

Lakes Lockeroom LLC Faaaliga always wanted to start a t-shirt shop, and Lakes Lockeroom is a graphic and personalized t-shirt shop. “The best way to explain it is kind of like Duluth, where you go up to Duluth and you go to those shops downtown, and you say ‘I want No. 7 on a red sweatshirt,’” Faaaliga said. Once a selection is made, Faaaliga prints and presses the design in the shop. Beyond customized items, there are also pre-pressed apparel items for customers to browse and purchase. Customers can order online or in the store, too. Faaaliaga hopes to grow the business and include other items like hats or tumblers. She’d like to turn it into a gift shop and focus on more than t-shirts. Lakes Lockeroom is open year-round 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays in the summer.

Sara Faaaliga Photography
High school senior photos are Faaaliga’s specialty when it comes to her photography, a craft she’s been doing for about 25 years. “I just have always loved (senior photos) because I can personalize their session for that senior,” Faaaliga said. She does all kinds of photography from births to families, engagements, weddings and special events. She photographs reunions and anniversary parties. She also enjoys taking “the first 48” photos of births and new families, focused on the first 48 hours after a baby is born.

Lakes Country Nutrition
Lakes Country Nutrition, formerly Lakes Country On Main, is a nutrition club on the left side of the building and offers Herbalife nutrition teas, protein shakes and iced coffees. Though many customers order and take their drinks to-go, there are a few tables and a seated bar area for them to sit, visit and enjoy their drinks. Energy teas and liftoffs – “that healthy energy” – are popular with the youth, Faaaliga said. The caffeine
and liftoffs are like tablets with green tea in them. Iced coffee is another popular choice for customers. The store is open year-round from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Your One Stop Shop in Battle Lake
