Lakes Area Community + Commerce (LACC), is a nonprofit organization that has proudly served the greater Battle Lake area since 2008. Rooted in community spirit and driven by passionate volunteers, LACC is dedicated to preserving cherished traditions while fostering a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere for residents and visitors alike.
Our mission is simple: to enhance the Lakes Area by supporting local businesses, nonprofits, schools, and organizations through effective marketing, promotion, and collaboration. We bring people together with low- or no-cost events that celebrate our community’s unique culture and create meaningful connections.
Whether you’re a year-round resident or a seasonal visitor, LACC offers a gateway to the best events, activities, and experiences the area has to offer. From organizing signature events like Wenonga Days, Turtle Races, Farmers Market, Jack-o’-lantern Jubilee, and Home Town Holidays – to serving as a hub of information and connection, we’re here to keep our community vibrant and thriving.
