Finn Creek Open Air Museum is an 18-acre interpretive site, devoted to preserving the heritage of the Finnish Culture and those people who immigrated to the area in the early 1900’s. We are located 6 miles SE of New York Mills, Minnesota.
Finn Creek Open Air Museum is open throughout the summer and it features a 1900 original farmstead, Savu smoke sauna, log barns, a sawmill, and its own gift shop. The Museum also hosts the Finn Creek Festival during the last weekend of August. It is an annual celebration that features entertainment, demonstrations, and food.
