Dalton Opera House
Community Spirit & Small Town Revival “Make Dalton Great Again.”
The Dalton Opera House was renovated and restored to its glory in 2013 by Greg and DeeDee Peterson. From the first event to the present, it has become a popular place for the community and surrounding area.
The Opera House has been filled to capacity for concerts by Connie Lee Stich, Allen Edwards, “Patsy Cline,” and others. We have enjoyed various performers from Norway, and special events featuring the talents of those in our area. Community events, such as “Syttende Mai” and the “Patriotic 4th of July Sing-a-Long” have been favorites.
Renovations, which include a kitchen, public restrooms, and a large deck are nearing completion, making the Dalton Opera House the perfect place to gather following an event.
New this year is The Creamery. Located next to the Opera House, the shop will feature vintage items and more. You will want to browse the shop when in town. The days & hours when The Creamery will be open will be posted.
Should you need a venue for a wedding, reception or family reunion, the Opera House is worth your consideration.
Thank you for your support and we welcome you to the Dalton Opera House!
