Central Lakes Trail
The Central Lakes Trail features a wide, paved trail for many miles. Originally the Burlington Northern Railway corridor, it covers beautiful scenery past lakes, ponds and old bridges, and you’re likely to see beautiful birds along the way. If you’re an experienced biker looking for a long scenic trek or a family looking to get outside, this is the perfect trail for you.
From the trailhead in DeLagoon Park, it’s 55 miles SE to Osakis and then another 46 miles along the Lake Wobegon Trail to St. Joseph. The Central Lakes Trail is open to non-motorized biking, hiking and in-line skating in warm weather and snowmobile riders in the winter.
