Halverson Park is the home to the famous Chief Wenonga statue in Battle Lake. The park is a trailhead for Glendalough Trail, which runs from downtown Battle Lake, travels along the shoreline of West Battle Lake, and then passes around and through the sparkling lakes and pretty forests of Glendalough State Park. Other amenities at the park include public restrooms and picnic areas
