New provider joins TCHC Wadena Clinic behavioral health
Tri-County Health Care recently added Terry Evers, family nurse practitioner and psychiatry mental health nurse practitioner, to its Wadena Clinic behavioral health team.
Evers worked in multiple in-patient and out-patient mental health settings as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner, as well as at a neurosurgical clinic for two years. He is board certified as a family nurse practitioner and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Adding a new provider to its behavioral health team allows Tri-County to increase mental health access for local communities. Evers believes that recognizing mental health conditions as illnesses that can be treated should be an expectation and the standard. He desires to see his patients achieve positive outcomes, and he wants to help them get there.
A native of Shoreview, Evers resides in Staples and enjoys growing wine grapes and hiking in his spare time.
