Kerkvliet receives TCHC Foundation scholarship
April Kerkvliet, LPN, was chosen for the Bernadine Marquart and Margaret Prindle Scholarship. She was selected from four outstanding
applicants. It is a $2,000 scholarship.
Kerkvliet is attending Minnesota State Community and Technical College in Wadena, pursuing an LPN to Associate Degree Nursing Bridge program. She is a second-year student. She has worked as a licensed practical nurse at Tri-County Health Care since 1997.
The scholarship was established as an endowment memorial for Bernadine Marquart, a licensed practical nurse at Tri-County Hospital for 46 years, and Margaret Prindle, who retired after 48 years of service in the dietary department.
This scholarship helps Tri-County Health Care employees reach their educational goals. One recipient is chosen each year using a blind selection process based on eligibility criteria.
