Job Purpose: To gain real world experience in the successful manufacturing of food products Responsibilities: – Gain exposure to the job responsibilities of a full-time Production Supervisor – Review production processes against the current Process Specification Summary – Assist Production Supervisors with information gathering to optimize performance – Document job descriptions for key positions, identifying major accountabilities – Assist with the supervision of a staff of approximately 15-30 employees – The position is very hands-on – supervisors are usually in the production area “on-their-feet” about 80% of the shift Requirements: – Must graduate in December 2024, May 2025, or August 2025 and major in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Management, Operations, Industrial Management, or related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred – Demonstrated leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position – Possess a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit – Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States – Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa – This position will require access to and/or the utilization of a personal motor vehicle to get to and from the workplace.
