Ross has been a full-time professional fishing guide in Ottertail County for 25 years.  Over the years, he has committed himself to providing the best fishing possible in both the summer and winter.  Guiding is his only work which enables him to constantly track fish behavior and fishing patterns all season long. Ross has spent thousands of hours refining fishing techniques and creating a strong understanding of many lakes around Ottertail County while specializing in walleye, crappie, small and largemouth bass, northern pike, fall-time muskie and perch.  Get on board his boat this summer, or rent an ice house this winter—we know you’ll enjoy it!

As the owner/operator of Meister Guide Service, Ross is an expert at customizing his service to maximize what his guests get from it.  Not only does Ross have a proven understanding of guiding, he also has an strong work ethic;  he has a strong belief that everybody deserves his best effort and understands that the folks getting in his boat or renting his fish houses have worked hard to earn the time and money they’ve afforded for the guided fishing experience.  Ross will make sure that your time and money are well spent!
