Prairie Hill Hike

Join Park Naturalist Dora on a stroll through the prairie and learn about this important ecosystem. We will be walking a half mile loop that is a mowed grass trail. This trail does contain an uphill and downhill portion. This will be a slower paced walk to see what is blooming and growing in this patch of remanent prairie.

We will meet at the Prairie Hill Parking Lot. Dress for the weather that day. Ticks are out and about; bug spray is recommended along with long socks or tick gaiters. Sunscreen and water are encouraged. Feel free to bring binoculars too! Children must be accompanied by an adult.

This program is free. A valid park pass is required for park entry. A daily park pass is $7, and an annual park pass is $35. It can be purchased at the park office or ahead of time online. https://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_parks/permit.html
