“Every Brilliant Thing” is a play by Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe, a one-person show about a child who starts a list of “everything brilliant thing about the world” to help their mother cope with depression, a list that grows and evolves with them through life’s challenges, including love, loss, and mental health.
The play is known for its humor, poignancy, and immersive, interactive nature. It’s a story about resilience, hope, and finding joy in the small things.
Directed by Scott Ecker, performed by Alex Kleven. There will be a Talk-Back session after the performance focusing on Mental Health and Suicide Prevention.
General Seating. Admission is a “Pay What You Can” with a portion of the proceeds going to fund local Mental Health organizations.
