Is there anything better than these days just before Summer begins? When you’re driving to the cabin and the sun doesn’t disappear completely until after 10:00? I’ll never forget that feeling of hope and excitement I had to get back to lakes country, the place I always felt was home, to enjoy the true magic of a Minnesota summer by the lake. We have had a great start to the 2025 season at Wildflower. We have added some great new team members to complement the staff that has been working so hard these past years to make Wildflower better everyday. In addition to Emily, Reed, and Ty we have welcomed Gavin Mickelson to the staff to help manage the pro shop. We also have a new intern, Carson Weiers, who has quickly positioned himself alongside the rest of our staff who exceed all expectations and make Wildflower such a special place to visit, play, and work! If you’ve already played a round this year, or have a tee time set later in the season, we thank you for trusting us to take care of you while you spend your free time here.
WELCOME BACK
Our staff is tops, and they deserve to be recognized. Jim Dew, Dave Morinville, Mark Lingen, Troy Wolf, Will Engel, Ty Prokop, Hudson Pundsack, Kole Gress, Breck Gathridge, Kaya Lee, Izabel Marcussen, Jae Borgen, Charli McQuillan, and Carly Pearson. We will also be joined by Valentin, Suzana, and Tania from Romania later this season. We know how lucky we are to have such a wonderful group working this year!
2025 Membership Information
Summer is just around the corner and there is still time to get your membership at Wildflower! We want to send a sincere thanks to everyone who trusted us to be their home course this summer. We really do have the best group of people playing out here–you help motivate us to be better everyday!

2025 Spring Fling
We had a great time at this year’s Spring Fling. The competition was tougher than ever before and there were serious challengers threatening the returning back-to-back champs. The third time was still a charm for Nick Lakoduk and Josh Persons who came through with the overall Gross victory, shooting 62. Nick Olsgaard and Tyler Schlotfeldt placed 2nd with a 63; and Mason and Brady Opheim cane in 3rd with a 64. In the Net Division, Adam Alexander and Dustin Parsons claimed victory with a score of 58, with Adam Eshenko and Don Larson in second place with a score of 60, and Jace Holm and Adam Eggl placed third with a 61. We thank everyone who came out to kick off the 2025 season for the event and look forward to having you back again!

HOLY ROSARY PTO RAFFLE
Want a 1 in 200 chance to win this fully loaded golf cart with more bells and whistles than we know what to do with, stop into the Wildflower Pro Shop to claim your ticket! Each raffle ticket sells for $100 and all of the proceeds of the raffle will be donated to the Holy Rosary School PTO. The drawing will be held on Friday, June 20th, in conjunction with our “drive” to tee it up to the max!
THE PERCH ON PELICAN
The Perch on Pelican is now open for the 2025 season daily from 7:00 am-10:00 pm. Located in the lower level of the Fair Hills Lobby it is the perfect spot to grab a coffee before your round or a cold drink after a day on the course. You can even stop down to visit while the kids are upstairs getting an ice cream cone or a malt! Let’s hope we can figure out how to have those coffee deliveries to the course soon! NEW RENTAL CLUBS
In addition to the TaylorMade clubs available to rent at the course, Wildflower is excited to announce we now have new Mizuno rental clubs for you to play a round. Men’s left and right handed sets, ladies clubs, and two junior sets are fresh out of the box and ready to go. Reserve yours by calling the pro shop.
STAY & PLAY
Wildflower is one of the few courses in the area that offers stay and play housing at two different resorts, Fair Hills Resort and Five Lakes Resort. Fair Hills is conveniently located just across the road on beautiful Pelican Lake. Five Lakes is our hidden gem resort located 20 minutes away in Frazee, MN, with nine cabins on private Lake Five. We’ve got you covered with great new merch in the Pro Shop! Stop by to get Dad decked out before Father’s Day, or find something for yourself. We carry a large selection of sizes for men, women, and kids. Brands include Travis Mathew, Under Armor, Waggle, Branded Bills, Reckless Golf, and Foot Joy. MEN’S LEAGUE
Men’s League will be held on Thursdays this year and we are looking to grow our league! If you have any questions or input or are interested in joining league feel free to call the Pro Shop at 888-752-9945 or email [email protected] for more information. If you would like to sign up for league, you only are required to play eight weeks so it’s not too late to join!
We have some great golfers on staff who are thrilled to help run our junior program this summer. Not only that, but some of them even attended junior golf camp at Wildflower when they were younger! We would love to have your kids join us for a week of games, practice, lessons, and fun. Camps take place Monday to Thursday from 9:30-11:30. All of our camps still have availability.
SUNDAY NIGHT COUPLES NIGHTS
We are “pairing” up with Black Diamond at Forest Hills to make Sunday nights the new couples night out! Grab your favorite someone and come out for a casual, relaxed, and fun night of golf at our courses, we will alternate hosting to allow you to meet your new favorite pair to join for a round. First night will be Sunday, June 15th at 5:00 at Black Diamond at Forest Hills, and Wildflower will host on Sunday, June 22. Free for members at their home course, or $45+ tax for public players. You do not have to play every week, just when you want to have a great time and make some new friends while you’re at it!
2025 WILDFLOWER MIDSUMMER SCRAMBLE
Registration is now open for the 2025 Wildflower MidSummer Scramble. This two person scramble will take place Sunday, July 27. This event always fills up so be sure to register now!
