A lot of us get excited about the changing seasons and hurry to store our summer gear. This will only cause headaches come next spring. This is a great time to clean the boat, air out tackle, and remove the old fishing line from our reels. These few simple things will make life easier come spring.

Once you’ve said goodbye to summer, now you can focus on preparing for a great season on the ice. Be sure to go over all your equipment. Auger blades, flasher batteries, new line on your reels, check to make sure your heater works and more. Use this time to make your winter more enjoyable.

The seasons are changing and it will open up more and new opportunities for everyone!
As always be VERY safe on the ice and never go alone. Wear your safety equipment and pay attention.
