Beginning on August 21st and running through September 18th, join us for five engaging workshops every Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Led by a dynamic group of instructors including Mark Pagán, Chuck Johnson, and Cindy Salo, you’ll delve into the art of storytelling, learning how to craft compelling plots, develop unforgettable characters, and perfect your performance.
The series kicks off with Visiting Artist and Expert Storytelling Mark Pagán from NYC introducing basic storytelling principles. Subsequent sessions will cover story structuring, crafting effective beginnings and endings, performance preparation, and final storytelling insights. Each week features hands-on exercises and valuable feedback.
On Wednesday, October 2nd, don’t miss our grand finale—a live storytelling competition. Showcase your newly honed skills before an audience, who will engage by voting on whether each story is fact or fiction, and select the most captivating storyteller.
