STAY: Sunset Bay Resort

The weather is getting warmer here at Sunset Bay Resort, and we are preparing for the upcoming season!

In addition to our normal spring opening tasks of washing all the cabin walls, ceilings and windows, we have started the renovations on the shower house! The exhaust fans have been installed and framed out-next up will be sanding and painting the walls, then new sinks and faucets, a new roof and a new water heater! This week we also installed new dressers in most of the cabins, and we hung the sign the kids made us for Christmas-what a cool project for them to do!

Last fall we also put new gutters on every cabin. No more water dripping on your head as you enter the door on those raining days. This will also help protect the new storm doors we have put on a number of cabins the past few years. We also purchased 2 new stand up paddle boards that are free for resort guests to use, and a new Sonar Phone fish finder that is included in the rental of the pontoon.
