Despite the hot temps fishing remains good in Otter Tail Lakes Country. We’ve been finding big bluegills feasting on blood worms over mud basin areas. Had several fish at and over 11″,biggest going 1lb 8oz’s, caught by customers last week. On clear lakes with deep weeds don’t be afraid to look deep as it seems as though fish are searching out that cooler water. On lakes with heavy algae blooms, where you are not seeing deep vegetation on your electronics, a thermocline might have developed so look in that 12-16 ft range. Steep dropping shoreline structure along with main lake humps and points have been best as of late. Bass have been active on outside weed edges.
