Shop Move N’ Groove COVID Edition
As much as we’d all love to gather downtown for a fun-filled day of “Shop, Move ‘n Groove,” we’ve modified this year’s event into“Shop, Move ‘n Groove COVID Edition,” in order to abide by current restrictions and maintain the health and safety of our businesses, residents, volunteers, sponsors and staff. You will soon receive a packet of information in the mail and there are links within this email for you to print flyers etc.

This year’s event will focus on rebuilding the local economy and be spread out over several days, July 6-17. Although we will not block off Lincoln Avenue for activities in the street, we will promote each businesses’ sidewalk sales, activities, special sales, or in-store events, so let us know what you have planned and we’ll promote it for you! We will promote the event with The Daily Journal, Leighton Broadcasting, on Facebook as well as the Chamber’s website: www.FergusFalls.com.
The wildly popular “Shop, Drop ‘n Win” promotion that rewards people who shop locally with a chance to win Fergus Bucks has been expanded to “Shop, Drop, Eat ‘n Win” from July 6-17 with $500 Fergus Bucks to be given away. Shoppers can register at the Chamber when they show us their receipts/proof of purchase plus they get a bonus entry for doing business with Chamber members! We will launch an online/Facebook “early bird bonus” July 6-9 where customers can post a photo of their receipt for double chances to win. “Shop, Drop, Eat ‘n Win” drawings will be held on Facebook Live @ 3:45pm on July 10, 14, 17 & 20.

Noon Rotary will hold their Lucky Duck Derby raffle fundraiser on July 9, and we will host a Virtual Chamber Café recognizing our “Everyday Heroes” on July 16. There will be a “Find Your Inner Otter Quest” July 6-10 with clues posted on Facebook daily to encourage community members to explore Fergus Falls and post photos.
We are extremely grateful for the dedication of local businesses, our Chamber members & board, volunteers, and sponsors. We WILL get through this together and emerge stronger on the other side. If you have any questions or comments, do not hesitate to reach out to me or a member of our Board of Directors. Thank you for your patience, understanding and kindness as we all work through these challenging times together.
Let’s all have fun when we “Shop, Drop, Eat ‘n Win” during “Shop, Move ‘n Groove COVID edition” July 6-17.
