How does one person transform the business outlook for her community? With a vision and drive. In Battle Lake, Sara Boyum never stops making big ideas a reality with enterprises ranging from restaurants to clothing, home decor to health.
Sara is a Battle Lake High School graduate and she has brought that hometown fan feeling to a city block of Battle Lake businesses. Just checking out the eating options she has opened will keep foodies full all day.
For a nourishing and nutritious morning nosh, stop into Neverbetter Market + Wellness. They have coffee, smoothies, juices and teas. Grab and go sandwiches, salads, grain bowls, soups and paninis. Looking for a place to linger, the main level seating has a mellow vibe and an outdoor patio for Main Street people watching.
One floor up, Sara has created a space for fitness classes. Trainers specializing in a variety of different genres guide students through goddess or vinyasa flow yoga, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)/ Tabata, Barre, and guided stretch. Friends and couples looking for a unique outing will want to try the Neverbetter Day Date combining a sauna and cold plunge, beverage and luncheon choice.

Maintaining a loyal following of foodie fans Sara previously owned two other Battle Lake restaurants. Folks have been known to drive for miles for signature cocktails and starring role entrees at Stella’s – grapefruit gimlet anyone? Over at The Rusty Nail local beers or ciders from the tap list pair nicely with the signature burgers and the best fried chicken in town.
