Ottertail Music In The Park Celebrating 10th year
Ottertail City to kick off it’s tenth year of music in the Ottertail City Music in the Park series on June 10th with “the Red Letter Band”.
The OTBCA Started it’s, Music in the Ottertail City music in the Park on Tuesday June 16, 2015 with a jazz band from Fergus Falls Jr. College called “Strange brew”. About 50 people showed up for that first event.
Over a course of years the music event has grown dramatically. On a given nice weather day the community free music event draws between 300 to 500+ people.
This event continues to grow each year. With a combination of good weather and great bands its the perfect mix for a relaxing Tuesday event to listen to some great music in the Ottertail city park.
We serve hotdogs, popcorn, chips and rootbeer floats and pop and water at each event.
We try to bring a mix of bands but mostly bands that play songs that people are familiar with.
Event will start out the with ever popular band “Red Letter band” on June 10th followed by Elvis Presley ( Todd Anderson) on June 24. ” Blue English” will play on July 8th, Rick Adams will be featured on July 22. We kick off Otterfest on August 9 with the ever popular “Sideliners”. New to the mix for August will be the “Tained Vibes” on August 12 and we will wrap up summer with “Katie baker and Sam” on August 26th.
This music event starts from 6:30-8:30 and 4:30-7:30 during Otterfest. Last Music Event (August 26) will be from 6-8pm.
Ottertail City Park is a large facility with lots of room for everyone with parking across the street from the stage so plan to make music in the Ottertail City park one of your summer event Activities!
