Fishing report 9-1-21
By Randin Olson of Lock Jaw Guide Service
Summer is winding down in lakes country. We’re in a time of transition and things will soon be a whole lot different. Water temps are starting to drop with the cool nights and this means the patterns you have had all summer are starting to change. Walleyes are spread out looking for easy meals. Two main patterns have been working for me. Super shallow rip jigging with plastics or run the deeper break lines with bottom bouncers and slow death hooks. Crappies are still on the weed lines. And can still be tricked with small jigs and plastics. Soon they will be heading for deeper water. Bass have been moving around a lot you can expect them to be roaming and active in the low light periods while finding cover during the day.

Don’t be afraid to explore a little on your next outing. And if you’d like to get on the water with me just give me a call! Randin olson Lock Jaw Guide Service 218-640-0158 www.lockjawfishing.com
