Fair Hills Family of Resorts & Golf Course Honored as 2025 Minnesota’s Best Winners 

We are proud to share that our family of businesses—Fair Hills Resort, Five Lakes Resort, and Wildflower Golf Course—have been recognized as winners in the 2025 Minnesota’s Best Readers’ Choice Awards by the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

These honors are especially meaningful because they were determined entirely by public nomination and voting—a true reflection of the incredible guests and community who continue to support us year after year. 

Our family has proudly owned and operated Fair Hills Resort since 1926, providing generations of guests with memorable lake vacations, warm hospitality, and timeless traditions. Since then, our family has expanded with the addition of Five Lakes Resort in 1976 and Wildflower Golf Course in 1993—each rooted in the same commitment to family, community, and quality.

This year, we’re honored to celebrate the 100th anniversary owning and operating Fair Hills Resort, the 50th anniversary of the same for Five Lakes. We are so grateful that we have been able to continue this legacy and share how magical and timeless a summer in Minnesota’s Lakes Country truly is. But our family experiences are only one small part of the memories these places hold. We were recognized in the following categories in the Readers Choice Poll:
