Artistry at Noontime Art for Lunch Continues April 5
Following the fun of fabric basket-making in March, the Cultural Center brings more creativity to spice up your tired ol’ lunch routine: the next iteration of the NEW monthly Art For Lunch class! Join us for “Bead & Brass Wire Brooches” on Thursday, April 5, at noon in the Cultural Center Gallery.
Each month February – May, at noon on the first Thursday of the month, a new art project is facilitated by Center Education and Outreach Coordinator, Cheryl Bannes. All activities are 45 minutes long so as to be completed over a lunch period.
“Everyone was excited to have something to take home and to have learned skills that they could use again,” says Bannes of the March session of Art for Lunch.
The continuing spring schedule for Art For Lunch is as follows:
- April 5: Bead & Brass Wire Brooches – Make a one-of-a-kind wire pin for yourself or as a gift.
- May 3: Paper Birds – Watercolor materials, scissors, and glue is all it takes to make cute 3D birds to hang in your window for spring!
Participants bring their own lunch; beverages are provided by the Center. A $3 fee is charged to help cover the cost of supplies. Registration is encouraged.
For more information or to register for Art For Lunch, please call the Cultural Center at (218) 385-3339 or visit the Center’s website at www.kulcher.org.
