OUTPATIENT PSYCHIATRIST OPPORTUNITY DETAILS: Lake Region Healthcare / Lake Region Medical Group, P.A. is seeking an Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our growing team of psychiatric providers at our multi-specialty group practice in Fergus Falls, MN. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: – Inform patients and their families about available mental health treatments, both within the organization and through local community support services. – Deliver effective outpatient psychiatric care to the adult patient population, ages 18+. – Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and oversee the prescription and management of medications for mental health disorders. – Serve as an inpatient psychiatric consultant as requested during business hours. – No after hours or weekend on-call required. – Full-time position in Fergus Falls, MN during clinic hours, Monday – Friday with options to incorporate virtual visits into schedule and for a condensed work week. QUALIFICATIONS: – Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of an accredited psychiatry residency required. – Board certification in psychiatry highly preferred; board eligibility required – Active Minnesota Medical License & DEA upon hire – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. – Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
