Park Gardens Senior Living is in Fergus Falls Minnesota across the street from Woodland Baptist Church on Skogmo Blvd. Our facility is a combination of Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care apartments. Our Cook/Chef becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations. Duties include: – Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures. – Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils. – Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy. – Ensure proper storage for food and supplies. – Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures. Preferred Qualifications: – High School Diploma or equivalent. – Experience in a senior living setting is preferred. – Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees. – Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
