Tri-County Health Care partners with visiting ophthalmologist
Through a partnership between Eye Consultants of Fargo, PLLC, and Tri-County Health Care, Michelle Atchison, M.D., will provide outreach through Tri-County’s specialty services on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. She will perform cataract surgery and offer treatment and diagnosis for a wide variety of optometry and ophthalmology conditions at the Wadena clinic.
Atchison attended the University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis, where she also completed her ophthalmology residency. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. She treats a variety of conditions including:
- Blepharitis
- Cataracts
- Corneal diseases
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Diplopia
- Dry eyes
- Eye blood, floaters, infections, neoplasm or tumors
- Eye visual field defects
- Eyelid disorders and drooping eyelids
- Glaucoma
- Iridocyclitis
- Keratitis
- Macular degeneration
- Pink eye
- Retina diseases
- Tear duct (blocked)
- Uveitis
