TCHC Foundation offers high school scholarships
The Tri-County Health Care Foundation is accepting applications for its annual high school scholarship. Six $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to graduating high school seniors in the Tri-County service area who are pursuing a health-related career.
The scholarship was established to encourage and promote qualified individuals from the hospital’s service area to pursue a health care career. It will aid in funding education at any accredited training program at any college or university.
Other criteria include:
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Prior experience in a health-related program such as VolunTeen or the TCHC Summer Internship Program
- Participation in community activities
- Estimated financial need
The application deadline is Monday, April 1.
