SOCIAL MEDIA WORKSHOPS
SOCIAL MEDIA WORKSHOPS
Otter Tail County & Otter Tail Lakes Country Associationare hosting a series of hands-on workshops designed to help public & private entities become better at using social media to promote themselves and the area.
WHO should attend?
Any business, organization or entity that already has a social media presence, but would like to become better at using it for marketing purposes. You are welcome to attend if you are just getting started, but you should contact us prior to workshop dates to ensure maximum value.
WHAT will you learn?
- Content Creation – What is content & the difference between the good and the bad.
- Image Sizing – How to size images correctly so your Facebook Page looks world class.
- Posting – How to schedule, boost and promote posts.
- Target Marketing – How to ensure your posts reach your desired audience.
- Breaking the “Silo Mentality” – A cooperative approach to social media marketing.
WHEN & WHERE are the workshops?
Workshops will be quarterly, at strategic locations around Otter Tail County. We highly recommend attending each quarter – much of the learning will come from following up on strategies implemented in the workshop from the previous quarter. All sessions run from 10am-12pm. The instructor will be available from 12noon-1pm for one-on-one consulting. *Dates & locations located on back.
WHY should I attend?
Social media can be a great tool to market and communicate with your business prospects or clients! However, often times businesses will create Accounts and Pages, but struggle with effective communication through these mediums. In addition to the concepts learned, attendees will be able to connect with others to brainstorm and find out new ways to help each other’s efforts.
How much does it cost?
- Free to OTLCA Members
- $25 per workshop for General Public/Non-OTLCA Members
- Register by emailing: [email protected]
