Kaddatz Galleries Offers Drawing Workshops
FERGUS FALLS, MN – Beginners to intermediate students can improve their drawing skills this spring and summer at the Kaddatz Galleries with classes from March through July.
- Beginning Drawing Each Wednesday April 5-May 10, 7-8:30 p.m., instructor Jacqueline Ness-Ludwig will teach basic drawing techniques and help students develop observational skills. This is a great class for people with no drawing experience or who would like a refresher course. Students will work from still life. The $75 fee covers all materials.
- Figure and Portrait Drawing Each Tuesday April 18-June 6, 7-8:30 p.m., instructor Scott Gunvaldson will guide students through a structured approach to drawing via the study of the human figure. Models will be clothed. The $150 class fee covers all materials, and participants will receive a free pass to the Friday Figure Drawing Group. A limited number of full and partial scholarships are available.
- Drawing with Color Instructor Lila Hauge-Stoffel teaches this summer workshop on Wednesdays, 3-5 p.m., June 7-July 12. The $150 fee covers all materials.
- Figure Drawing Group. This group for ages 18 and up meets regularly on Fridays, 7-8:30 p.m. Students study from nude and clothed models. Easels and tables are provided, but artists are asked to bring their own art supplies. There’s a per-session sliding scale fee of $5-$10.
