Fish Are on The Move
With the warmer temperatures we have been having the fishing has been spotty. Temperatures have been 15 to 20 degrees above normal making fishing slow. With cooler temperatures moving in, the fishing has begun to pick up. Anglers are finding walleye in 25-35 foot depths near shoreline breaks. Even though it’s getting late for the crawler bite, anglers have been successful using crawlers and also a jig and minnow setup. Look for northern pike to be active in 15-20 foot weeds and bass in 8-15 foot weeds. The fish are on the move so if they aren’t in the same spot as the day before, keep searching!
