February Festival of Health set for Feb. 2
Tri-County Health Care’s 29th annual February Festival of Health will be held on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at M State Wadena. This is the largest community-wide health fair in the area.
This free family event offers more than 60 health-related and interactive booths by local businesses and organizations. Each booth provides hands-on learning and community health, wellness and safety information for all ages. Some booths will also offer attendees a chance to sign up for prize drawings. Free health screenings include blood pressure checks, vision screenings and blood glucose tests.
Throughout the day, free entertainment and demonstrations will take place. They will include performances by Just for Kix, demonstrations by Mid-Minnesota Taekwondo, free face paintings by Beth Kern and free caricatures by Doug Curtis.
February Festival of Health is sponsored by Tri-County Health Care, Tri-County Health Care Foundation and M State Wadena.
