DESCRIPTION:Join Park Naturalist Dora on a stroll through the prairie. We will be walking a half mile loop that is a mowed grass trail. This trail does contain an uphill and downhill portion. This will be a slower paced walk to see what is blooming and growing in this patch of remanent prairie. \nWe will meet at the Prairie Hill Parking Lot. Dress for the weather that day. Ticks are out and about; bug spray is recommended along with long socks or tick gaiters. Sunscreen and water are encouraged. Feel free to bring binoculars too! DESCRIPTION:The RMH Ride started in 2002 when a family friend was experiencing hardship while their child was sick\, and stayed at the Ronald McDonald House of the Red River Valley. We started with just 15 members and raised $3\,300 our first year. \nThe Ride has continued annually since 2002 and has expanded to include other annual events like our Kick Off Party and Fun Run.
